MyProspectus™ is a unique recruitment tool that enables universities and colleges to target their prospectus to individual applicants.

This concept brings together the experience we've built up over several years within the education marketing arena and our ability to develop communication solutions in-house across a range of media.

Effective HE and FE recruitment now requires the development of more specific marketing strategies, involving true CRM, differentiating between markets and a more targeted approach. This enables institutions to target their prospectus to individual applicants, thereby providing numerous benefits — better application tracking, improved response rates, less wastage and significant cost savings in production and fulfilment.

This product has particular relevance to the international and post graduate market and Sterling is already working with two institutions — University of Northampton and Edge Hill, who are both using the product.

Digital printing has enabled the university to produce a totally personalised prospectus containing only the course information that the applicant has requested and other specific information relevant to them. Northampton was spending over £5 per unit, mailing its main prospectus to overseas applicants. Producing an average of 100 prospectuses per week, over a 12 month period, the institution has saved over 50% on the unit price, including production and postage, and for a far more effective product.
