Digital Account ManagerRef. 10008

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Scope:

The role requires the management and delivery of a wide variety of digital projects, from email campaigns to large websites. The successful candidate will need to be able to deal with senior clients, and take projects from brief to delivery.

You will develop and maintain good working relationships with internal departments and Clients. You will need to understand Client's business, objectives and the markets in which they operate whilst managing and controlling day to day Client contact.

You will be required to prepare creative briefs and specifications, obtain Client and internal approval and brief the Creative and Technical team. You will have to manage Client's business through the Studio, wider Agency and third parties and ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget and to specification. You should also be creative in your approach to analysis and problem solving. You will also produce estimates, invoice in a timely fashion and monitor and report on account profitability to the Operations Manager. There will be a involved in new business mailings and pitches as appropriate and will need to identify areas of growth for existing clients .

The successful candidate will be a consummate and credible sales professional selling design & print lead communications solutions, directly, to a blue chip corporate client base (no print management companies or agencies). The role is focussed purely on new business and is suited to people who are ‘sales hungry’ and who can exploit their exceptional sales skills with effective and successful results.

Responsible to: The Board

External relationships: Blue chip and SME clients to director level within marketing, technical & procurement teams.

Internal relationships: Senior Management, Account Management teams, Finance and Administration

Talented Web Designer and Programmer wanted for marketing communications company whose emphasis is integrated marketing and branding for a wide range of blue chip organizations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, highly skilled individual with past agency experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and production of website and other online media. They will collaborate with the creative team to deliver compelling web content and unique designs that exceed our clients' expectations. Experience in brand strategy and marketing is a plus and enthusiasm for what you do is essential for our joint success.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Work with creative team in mapping out ideas, timelines, delivery dates. Attention to detail is a MUST
  • Prioritization, coordination and management of multiple projects and initiatives under tight deadlines
  • Project management - this person will be working autonomously and must be able to self motivate and maintain deadlines and deliverables
  • Day-to-day oversight, execution, production and transmission of art files/design elements and associated follow-up
  • Able to "bridge the gap" between technology and clients by speaking in a language that is easily understood by consumers
  • Must be able to deliver innovative solutions • SEO marketing and social media experience a plus

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four (2) years interactive design experience. Past Agency experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of web standards, design and usability, and common web and application architectures
  • Experience in user interface design with a proven track record of interpreting web analytics, user feedback, and best practices for continual improvement
  • Strong focus in design and web interactivity with extensive skills in Flash (including Action Script) and HTML. Additional Programming skills in PHP, CSS and Javascript are necessary.
  • Fluency with standard and dynamic design software packages (Dreamweaver, Flash,Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) required.
  • Familiarity working within web content management systems
  • Strong communication skills along with ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player
  • Demonstrated experience with project planning and excellent project management skills required
