Sterling strike another success in partnership with local university's innovative new prospectus
March 2005
The Wellingborough headquarters of the marketing communications company, Sterling have teamed up with University College Northampton, Northamptonshire's only higher education provider, to launch a striking, merged undergraduate and postgraduate course prospectus for academic year 2005/2006 – believed to be the only prospectus of its kind currently in higher education.
Sterling worked closely with the University College to create a stunning black design with a heavy emphasis on photography throughout. ‘The Prospectus’ combines foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses for all ages, interests and professional needs.
Kathryn Jones, Marketing Director at University College Northampton, explains this concept further, It's trying to reach out to wide audiences of different potential students - school leavers, prospective mature students, business people – to make higher education as accessible as possible.
Sterling designed and printed ‘The Prospectus’, which was revealed to the public for the first time at University College Northampton's recent March Open Day, which attracted over 2,000 visitors.
Kathryn Jones concluded, The new design is a really exciting step forward for us. We've received fantastic, positive feedback so far from staff, students and prospective students about the design of the prospectus and how comprehensive the information contained in it is.
The Prospectus follows a wave of success for University College Northampton's marketing department, Corporate Communications and Development – a number of these projects in conjunction with Sterling.
Sterling's Marketing Director, Chris Timm said, “We are very proud of our links with local education, and our partnership with University College Northampton continues to thrive and grow stronger. Our reputation in this sector has gained us a number of accounts with educational institutions throughout the UK.”
